The student data sheet contains your personal identifier and the password for the initial login to the IT services of Leibniz Universität Hannover.
Your personal identifier (also called LUH-ID) is the username (login name) for the identity management system (IdM) of Leibniz Universität Hannover. The password on the student data sheet is only needed for the initial login and if you want to reset your password later.
During the initial login at the IdM system, a few data items will be queried from you and you will have to make a few settings. We need a valid e-mail address from you in order to contact you if necessary. Afterwards you must change the password of the initial login to a personal password. Finally, you must choose which institutions of Leibniz Universität Hannover may send messages to your e-mail address.

Before you can actually use the IdM, you must complete all steps of the initial login. You can log out at any time during the initial login and interrupt the initial login process. The system will automatically direct you to the next not-yet-completed step of the initial login at your next login.
