Help:
At position 3 of the initial login menu you must change your password. In order to use the IdM system regularly and to be able to log in to the online portal for students, you must enter a new password.
Your password may contain a maximum of 16 characters. The minimum length is 8 characters. Your password must contain characters from three of the following groups: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits and special characters. Character sequences such as 1234, ABCD or wwww can reduce security; parts of your name or your LUH-ID are also not permitted.
If your password is rejected, you must think of a different password. You can also write the password down and then enter it. If the password has been accepted, keep the note with the password in a safe place.
Since you can change every password in the account manager without entering the old password, the IdM password is a kind of master key: keep it safe and choose one that cannot be guessed. It allows you, together with your LUH-ID, access to the online portal and thereby to your examination data. For this reason too, you should choose a secure password and not pass it on to third parties.
