The identity management system (IdM for short) is the unified access point to the IT services of Leibniz Universität Hannover. The system offers every user the possibility to manage service accounts (apply for, deactivate, delete), manage passwords and store a personal e-mail address in the system. The following services are already integrated:
- Adobe-PC
- Campus-PC
- Remote print submission
- User account Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
- Online portal for examination management
- Computer pool Mathematics/Physics
- WebSSO/OpenID
- WLAN/VPN
The integration of further services is being planned. The integration of further user groups is also intended for the future.
Important:
Since the winter semester 2008, every student receives a unique identifier: the LUH-ID, which has the form XXX-XXX. In the medium to long term, the LUH-ID will serve as the personal identifier for almost all IT services of Leibniz Universität Hannover.
With your identifier (XXX-XXX) and your password for the service IDM/HIS (this password is your personal password, which you use to log in to the IdM you can log in to the online portal after the initial login. The password on the student data sheet cannot be used for this.
